1. What does social justice mean to us ,it means multiple things to me ,life ,love, and happiness.Life because social justice is life, without life what would social justice be , what issues would there be ?None, but there is life so social justice is something that is apart of all lives .Happiness is big in social justice because at the end of every problem ,there is a solution and that solution is what everyone wanted and it makes a lot of people happy , and i believe everyone deserves a chance to be happy at least once. Love if someone has a social justice issue they need to love what they are fighting for because if they don't love it or love the outcome then what's the point of worrying about the issue in the first place.
2. We feel it’s hard to achieve social justice ,because you always have someone against your issue ,even if its for the greater good ,you're going to find someone who thinks you're wrong. We know that there is someone in my community that thinks pitbulls should be banned,no matter the case of the dog ,even if the dog was a very friendly dog they will have something bad to say.
3. The struggle is something that brings people together to social justice ,a animal that just wants make someone happy and be loved in the process. The struggle is how pit bulls are loved at as a horrible animal that shouldn't be able to live on the face of this earth because of their history with attacks .But no one ever looks at the owner ,who is obviously not responsible enough to even own a animal .
4. Our role in the struggle is to get notice that Chicago is trying to ban not just pit bulls but many breeds of dogs ,dogs that are considered dangerous, and thats not true .We're trying to get everyone to realize that these dogs can be good dogs ,great dogs ,great pets,a member of the family .As a owner of a pit i know that the storys that i have heard about “all pits” are not true .I want to own pits for the rest of my life ,i want to even work with these lovable animals at one point in my life .
