Pitbulls being banned is not a new problem in our world. According to DogBites.org pitbulls have been banned in Argentina, Bavaria, Bermuda, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Guyana, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Lativa, Singapore, Spain, St. Kitts and Nevis,Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, and many more places. That suggest that many countries ban them for their behaviors .This applies to the issue of people wanting them banned in places in the United States. Many places in Colorado have pits banned .Because they are said to be “dangerous dogs” according to an article in the Huffington Post posted on 2/21/14.This article also shows places in the United States where they already have pit bull bans or bully breed bans ,or are considering it .This illustrates that many places are considering banning a animal ,a living creature from being able to live there for many years to come.
This is very important because we as humans kill more than these dogs kill why are we not being banned .According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in 2012 33,561 people died in car crashes ,and according to World Health Organization(WHO) 1.2 million people are killed in road crashes each year and as many as 50 million are injured ,thats in the whole world, compare that too 3521 dog attacks and 470 dog related deaths that have happened in the past 30 years,it seems like cars should be banned and not a breed of dog.
